Tagalog News: Implementasyon ng ICT minadali ng Pangulo

Koronadal City (25 September) -- Iniutos ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) na madaliin ang implementasyon ng proyekto nitong Information and Communications Technology (ICT) upang mapabuti pa ang kamapanya hinggil sa anti-smuggling.

Nag-apila naman ng graft charges sa Office of the Ombudsman ang Department of Finance's Revenue integrity Protection Service (RIPS) laban sa anim na tauhan ng BOC dahil sa illegal na pagpapalabas ng mga ito ng labing-apat na luxury cars mula sa Hidemitsu Trading Corp at ibenenta ng humigit-kumulang isang milyong piso anim na buwan na ang nakalipas.

Ang mga ito ay sina Josephine Dullas acting chief ng certificate of payment unit ng BOC-Subic; custom examiners Orlando Ronquillo, Rustico Mallari, Enrico Cruz; principal appraisers Ebrahim Pangkatan at Rodolfo Casis.

Ang RIPS ay isang programang itinatag ng Department of Finance (DoF) na siyang nagbabantay at naghuhuli sa mga corrupt na opisyal at empleyado mula sa mga ahensiya ng pamahalaang humahawak at may kinalaman sa pera ng bansa. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
