Tagalog News: Kinatawan ng 2 LGUs mula sa Iloilo bumisita sa South Cotabato

Koronadal City (25 September) -- Bilang bahagi ng kanilang study tour o mas kilala sa tawag na "lakbay aral" sa iba't ibang bahagi ng bansa, binisita kamakailan ng dalawang (2) local government units (LGUs) mula Iloilo ang lalawigan ng South Cotabato.

Ang dalawang (2) LGUs ay mula sa lalawigan ng Alimodian at Dumangas.

Nilibot ng Dumangas LGU ang mga bayan ng Banga at Surallah kung saan napag-alaman ang magandang maidudulot ng alternative herbal medicine program at sinaksihan ang mga organic practices ng mga magsasaka sa nasabing bayan.

Sumubok din ang mga bisita ng boat riding sa mga islets ng Lake Sebu at ang pagbisita sa bagong bukas na 2nd falls na pinakahuling bahagi ng paglalakbay sa lalawigan.

Sa kabilang dako, binisita rin ng 65-member Alimodian LGU delegation ang iba't ibang educational at tourist sites ng lalawigan bilang bahagi ng kanilang "immersion program."

Bago bumalik sa Iloilo at upang maipakita ang mga tradisyunal at mayamang kultura ng South Cotabato, pinaghandaan ng lalawigan ang dalawang (2) LGUs ng isang dinner at cultural presentation na ginanap sa Protech Center na tinaguriang "pasalubong center." (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
