Living Asia airs Zambo Hermosa

Zamboanga City (September 26) -- Zamboanga, Asia's Latin City will be continuously featured in the Living Asia Channel, a 24-hour Asian travel and lifestyle channel, available through cable and beamed not only in Asia but in North America and other parts of the world.

The grand Zamboanga Hermosa Festival held in line with the feat of Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar on October 12 will be the focus of the hourly presentation that started September 23.

Highlights of last year's weeklong Zamboanga Hermosa Festival including the city's interesting tourist attractions, people and culture are included in the showcase. The 2007 Hermosa Festival themed "Asia's Latin City…Alive!" will also be featured in the coming months.

Mayor Celso Lobregat expressed confidence that the exposure would help boost the city's campaign to lure investors and tourists to Zamboanga City, now branded as Asia's Latin City.

The present administration has intensified its promotional blitz to erase the misconception that Zamboanga City is a war torn area.

Local residents as well as those staying in other parts of the country can watch the La Hermosa presentation on the following Living Asia Channel Program Schedule: September 23 (Sunday)- 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.; September 24 (Monday)—7 a.m. and 8 p.m.; September 25 (Tuesday)—4:00 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.; September 26 (Wednesday)—1 a.m., 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 10p.m.; September 27 (Thursday)—6 a.m. and 7 p.m.; September 28 (Friday)—3 a.m. 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.; September 29 (Saturdday)—12 a.m., 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. and September 30 (Sunday)—5 a.m.

Living Asia showcases the best of Asian destinations, finds, culture, cuisine, fashion, people, business, issues and investment opportunities in the Philippines and Asia.

Living Asia Channel is available in SkyCable, Global Destiny Cable, Dream Satellite TV and other affiliate cable stations within the Philippines. (CIO/PIA ZC) [top]
