CID holds seminar on anti-violence in Bulua

Cagayan de Oro City (26 September) -- THE Community Improvement Division Office (CID) of the City Mayor's office will conduct a series of seminar on Republic Act 9262 otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act, at the Bulua National High School in Cagayan de Oro City starting September 29, this year.

Norma L. sabacajan, City Population Program Office IV, said that the seminar aims to increase the level of awareness among the community barangay leaders and people in the need to protect the women and children against all form of violence.

It also aims to orient the participants on basic human rights and laws protecting women against all form of violence and abuses and to promote peace in every household being the basic unit of society.
