Tagalog News: T'nalak cultural performers itatampok sa Japan

Manila (26 September) -- Inihayag ni Provincial Tourism Operations Officer at T'nalak Cultural Festival Dance Troupe (TCFDT) coordinator Indira Cagaanan na napili bilang isa sa mga kakatawan sa international competition sa Japan ang ilang T'nalak performers ng South Cotabato.

Kabilang sa mga kakatawan ng bansa sa MIDOSUJI Parade na gaganapin sa Osaka, Japan sa ika 13-14 ng Oktubre ngayong taon ang ilang piling performers mula sa mga bayan ng Tampakan, T'boli, at Lake Sebu.

Itatampok ng TCFDT ang isang namumukod tanging cultural performance sa ika labing tatlo (13) ng Oktubre na gaganapin sa lungsod ng Takatsuki sa Japan. Makikiisa rin ang mga representatives ng bansang Pilipinas sa gagawing isang oras na parade mula Umede hanggang Midori.

Matatandaan noong ipinagdiriwang ng South Cotabato ang kanyang 41st Foundation Anniversary at 8th T'nalak Festival, ipinangako ni Tourism Secretary Joseph "Ace" Durano III na ipapadala nito ang mga winning performing group sa Me'dal Belan Street-Dancing at Showdown sa Japan.

Lalahok din ang University of the Philippines (UP) Folk Dancers sa nasabing Department of Tourism (DOT)-sponsored international cultural event sa Japan. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
