Tagalog News: BIMP-EAGA LG Forum gaganapin sa South Cotabato

Koronadal City (26 September) -- - Daan-daang local government leaders at mga foreign dignitaries mula sa mga bansang Brunei, Indonesia, at Malaysia ang inaasahang bibisita sa Koronadal City upang dumalo sa 2nd Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines-East Asia Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA), Chief Ministers, Governors, at Local Government Heads Forum na gaganapin sa Del Rio Splash resort ng nasabing lungsod.

Ang forum na nakatakdang gagawin sa ika 23-24 ng Oktubre ay magsisimula sa isang election ng mga bagong opisyal ng Confederation of the League of Provincies, Cities and Municipalities in Mindanao (CONFED-Mindanao).

Sa pangunguna nina South Cotabato Governor Daisy Avance-Fuentes, Vice Governor Eliordo Ogena kasama ng mga kasapi ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan at ng provincial government heads, ipriprisenta din sa mga visiting high-ranking officials ang iba't ibang cultural presentation at isang T'nalak haute Couture Fashion Show.

Sa gaganaping pagpupulong, pag-uusapan din ang mga rekomendasyon at mga isyung may kaugnayan sa mga pagkakataong maibibigay ng BIMP-EAGA sa mga pamahalaang lokal, pagpapabuti ng EAGA institutional structures at mechanisms upang mapabuti pa ang pakikiisa ng local government, at ang mahalagang papel na gagampanan ng local government sa EAGA.
