Tagalog News: ARMM infra projects 60-70% accomplished

Manila (27 September) -- Umaabot na sa pagitan ng 60% at 70% ang accomplishment ng mga infrastructure projects sa iba't-ibang bahagi ng Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

Iniulat ni Secretary Rasul Abpi ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-ARMM na sa kanilang isinagawang appraisal sa mga infrastructure projects na nakatakdang ma-kumpleto sa taong ito at mga kasalukuyang ini-implement sa autonomous region, nasa 60% at 70% na ang naitalang accomplishment.

Ayon kay Secretary Abpi, ang pagsasakatuparan ng mga proyektong imprastruktura ay ayon sa layunin ni ARMM regional governor Zaldy Ampatuan na maayos at mapa-unlad ang mga malalayong lugar sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng farm-to-market roads upang mapadali ang pagluluwas ng mga produkto patungo ng mga pamilihan.

Kabilang sa infra development program sa ARMM ang pagtatayo ng mga paaralan sa mga malalayo at mahihirap na lugar sa Maguindanao, Basilan at Sulu na lubhang naapektuhan ng mga digmaan, ayon kay Abpi.

Ayon kay Abpi, umaabot sa P650 million na capital outlay ng ARMM na hinati bilang regional, provincial at district impact projects. (pbc/PIA 12) [top]
