Tagalog News: 2ND BIMP-EAGA Forum sa South Cotabato pinaghahandaan na

Koronadal City (28 September) -- Abalang-abala na sa paghahanda ang mga opisyal ng mga local government units ng South Cotabato at lungsod ng Heneral Santos para sa nalalapit na 2ND BIMP-EAGA Chief Ministers, Governors and Heads of Local Government Forum na gagawin sa Oktubre 23-24, 2007.

Inaasahang maging pangunahing panauhin si Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary Ronaldo Puno na magbibigay ng kanyang pananaw hinggil sa isyung may kaugnayan sa mga opportunities ng mga LGUs sa rehiyong sakop ng BIMP-EAGA lalo na sa sektor ng Transport, Infrastructure at ICT; natural Resources (Agriculture, Fisheries, Emvironment at Energy); Tourism at Trade, Investments at SMEs.

Pag-uusapan din ng mga delegado mula sa mga bansang Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia at ng host country-Philippines ang mga estratehiyang may kaugnayan sa sub-regional cooperation, mga developments sa EAGA cluster at mga haharaping direksiyon at mga challenges.

Pangungunahan ni South Cotabato Governor Daisy Avance-Fuentes ang pag-welcome sa mga delegado mula sa BIMP-EAGA. (ac agad PIA 12) [top]
