Tagalog News: Gobyerno buo ang suporta sa 2nd BIMP-EAGA Forum, ani Usec Leyretana

Koronadal City (10 October) -- Nanawagan ng buong suporta para sa pagdaraos ng 2nd BIMP-EAGA Heads of Local Government Forum sa mga lungsod ng Koronadal at Davao sa darating ng October 23 hanggang 27, 2007 si Mindanao Economic Development Council (MEDCO) chair undersecretary Virgilio "Ley" Leyretana.

Ayon kay Usec Leyretana, mahalaga umano ang tagumpay ng nasabing forum para sa buong Mindanao region dahil malaki ang magagawa nito sa paghihikayat ng mga local at foreign investors dahil sa mga magagandang tourism potential ng rehiyon.

Ani Leyretana, malaki umano ang maitutulong ng nasabing pagtitipon ng mga pinuno ng local government mula sa mga bansang Brunei Darrusalam, Infonesia, Malaysia at iba pang bansa gaya ng Japan at Australia, para sa economic development ng mahigit 10,622 barangays ng Pilipinas.

Kaugnay nito, hinikayat din ni Leyretana ang lahat ng law enforcement agencies na nakabase dito sa rehiyon dose lalo na ang Task Group South Cotabato na pinamumunuan ni Police provincial director Robert Kiunisala, na pagtutuunan ng pansin ang paghahanda sa seguridad ng bawat delegado at maging ng mga lokal na residente rin sa panahon ng 2nd BIMP-EAGA Forum.
