Tagalog News: Pagsasagawa ng human rights roadmap effective measure sa bansa

Manila (5 February) -- Hinikayat ng mga human rights advocates ang Presidential Human Rights Committee (PHRC) na isama ang paghahanda ng human rights roadmap effective measures sa bansa para sa bawasan ang mga insidente ng extrajudicial killings at mga forced disappearances sa bansa.

Sa pagpupulong ng human rights groups na Bantay-Bayan Foundation, Karapatan, Task Force Detainees of the Philippines, National Council of Churches in the Phiilippines, Kasamaka CBR Foundation, Amnesty International, CWC at mga vulnerable groups gaya ng mga kababaihan, kabataan at mga mamamayang may kapansanan sa Malacaņang kasabay ng paghahanda para sa Universal Periodic Review (UPR) ng UN Human Rights Council na gaganapin ngayong taon. Tinalakay ng grupo ang mga paraan upang masolusyunan ang mga isyung nakakaapekto sa civil at political rights sa bansa.

Inaasahan ng isang grupo na kinabibilangan ng mga government at civil society representatives ang pagsasagawa ng mga panukala sa human rights at mga guidelines para sa estado ng mga claimholders upang itaguyod ang human rights advocacies na magtatagal para sa karagdagang pag-iwas ng mga unnecessary victims sa naturang karumaldumal na pagpatay sa mga aktibista.
