Oro CID now accepts scholarship applicants for SY 07-08
Cagayan de Oro City (5 February) -- THE Community Improvement Division (CID) of the City Mayor's Office accepts applicants for the City College Scholarship Program (CCSP) for the school year 2007-2008 starting this week.
Norma Lee-Sabacajan, Population Program Officer IV and chief of the CID, revealed that her office is already accepting applicants who are qualified for the city government's college scholarship program.
Prospective scholars must meet the following qualifications: Filipino citizen, single and a resident of a barangay within Cagayan de Oro City, not more than 25 years of age at the time of application, family annual income does not exceed P72,000.00 and a graduate in any public high school in the city and has not earned any college unit.
Sabacahan added that applicants who graduated from high school last year who are not enrolled in colleges or university up to now or those considered out-of-school youth and are interested to go back to school, may now submit their requirements at the CID office.
