CHED introduces expanded TEEAP
Tuguegarao City (February 19) -- The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has introduced the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) for the undergraduate individuals who want to pursue their education in the field of their related work and experiences for assessment and accreditation.
RD Virgina Resureccion explained the ETEEAP is a program which recognizes knowledge, skills, attitudes and values obtained by individuals from formal, non-formal and informal education, training and related work experiences.
Any Filipino citizen can avail of the program provided that they at least graduated in high school or were able to step in first year college and employed for an aggregate for at least five years in the field or industry related to the academic program he/she wants to obtain.
Any candidate must also at least 22 years of age and be able to show evidence of capability and thorough knowledge in the field applied for equivalency and accreditation.
Meantime, CHED deputized nine institutions for the program which include the Cagayan Colleges Tuguegarao, Cagayan State University, Isabela State University, and PLT College in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, and St. Ferdinand College in Ilagan, Isabela, St. Mary's University in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, St. Paul University Tuguegarao and University of La Salette in Santiago City.
