Governor Dakila E. Cua in his message, urged the residents to make the Caravan project a way of life. He pointed out that the provincial government is trying to reach all barangays to make the residents feel that they have a government that is sincere in giving services.

"I Love Quirino Caravan means I love myself, neighbors, leaders, and my place", Cua explained. To show this love, he challenged the residents to be productive citizens in order to contribute to the development of their barangay.

The Caravan team brought medical/dental mission courtesy of the Provincial Health Office. Blood typing was also conducted by the Philippine National Red Cross. Noodles and used clothes were distributed by the Quirino Polytechnic College. Cavans of rice were donated by the Office of Congressman Junie E. Gov. Cua granted the request of the barangay officials for the gradering of their roads saying his administration is prioritizing the improvement of roads as this will open greater opportunities for the barangays.

He immediately instructed Provincial Engr. Ireneo Benavidez to start the road improvement in the barangay.

In a separate meeting with the barangay officials, the governor committed P500 thousand for barangay projects.

Barangay Captain Vicente Ballesteros couldn't thank the CARAVAN team enough for coming over to their barangay. (PIA Quirino) [top]
