Caravan brings services in town village

Diffun, Quirino (February 21) -- Residents in this town's Southern barangay here were merged at its barangay hall to grasp the services offered by the "I Love Quirino Caravan" led by Governor Dakila Carlo E. Cua.

Various national government agencies based in the province have joined in the Caravan like the Departments of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Health (DOH), Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), Philippine National Police (PNP), Land Registration Authority, non-governmental organizations and provincial government offices have brought their free services to the people of barangay Cajel.

Among the services brought by the agencies to this village were medical and dental services, infra-structure projects, livelihood assistance, land titling, legal/family counseling and VAWC including various information campaigns on environmental protection and conservation, disaster prevention and management, peace and order/drug addiction, tourism awareness, promotion of Quirino Polytechnic College as the province's premier college, and population and development.

Governor Cua said that the I LOVE QUIRINO CARAVAN will continue bringing the same services to the barangays of Quirino in order that the village residents would improve their economic, health and nutrition status and will enhance family relationship and social development of Quirinians.

Cua said that the objectives of this CARAVAN are to promote quality services and will make the provincial government closer to the people of Quirino.

The I Love Quirino Caravan here is on its third leg, it was launched earlier in the first week of February at Mangandingay, Cabrroguis, Quirino and the second in Pongo, Nagtipunan, Quirino respectively.

More barangays in the province are scheduled to be offered the same services in the coming months. (PIA Isabela) [top]
