Comcenter responds to 360 emergency calls in July
Cagayan de Oro City (6 August) -- THE Cagayan de Oro Emergency Assistance and Communication Center (COMCENTER) has responded a total of 360 calls for assistance last month.
Ric Pabayo, COMCENTER manager, disclosed in his monthly report to City Mayor Constantino G. Jaraula that out of the total calls received, traffic accidents cases topped the list with 93; bank/pawnshop alarm, 63; nuisance public disturbance/intoxication, 59; carnapping, 18 and robbery/ thieft/snatching/vices, 11.
The city government's round-the-clock public assistance center also acted on four calls of fire alarm incidents; two on stabbing/hacking, shooting, drugs and physical injury and one on murder/homicide/dead body and domestic, Pabayo added.
