Army civac benefits 700 relocatees in Anislag resettlement site

Daraga, Albay (15 August) -- The Philippine Army 901st Infantry Brigade based here, continues to conduct medical and dental missions in its jurisdiction and area of operation.
This time, the civic action was held in Tagas Village of the DSWD Core Shelter Relocation Site in Barangay Anislag here, on Friday, August 8.
In partnership with Children World Aid Program, Inc. and the Office of Albay 2nd District Congressman Al Francis Bichara and in cooperation with the LGU in Daraga, more than 700 relocatees from Barangays Tagas, Binitayan, Budiao, Malobago, Baņag and Busay availed of the free medical and dental check-ups with free medicines.
In his message, Col. Arnel Bernardo, 901st IBde commander, also promised to send his soldiers to teach the children in Anislag Resettlement. "Kapit-Bisig Lagan sa Kahirapan, Magtulungan Tayo Para sa Ikauunlad Natin."
Bernardo said the 901st IBde and the Children World Aid Program, Inc. headed by Ms. Marichu Arienda would extend their medical services and free medicines to villagers of poblacion Rapu-Rapu, Albay on September 27-28, 2008.
Tagas Village Organization president Audie M. Ante together with his officers expressed utmost gratitude to all who supported their project.
