Tagalog News: IBoP Small Grants Program para sa mga mananaliksik inilunsad

Manila (15 August) -- Sa hangaring patuloy na maisulong ang scientific innovation laban sa kahirapan, inilunsad ng Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC) ang iBoP Small Grants Program.

Layon ng programang ito na suportahan ang mga mananaliksik sa Southeast Asia na may malaking kontribusyon sa pagbuo ng Science and Technology (S&T)-based solutions ng sa ganun ay agarang matugunan ang development needs at mga problema ng marginalized base of the pyramid (BoP) sektor sa rehiyon.

Sa pagbubukas ng 2008 iBoP Grant Competition iniimbitahan ang lahat ng mga individual researchers/grupo o institusyon na gumagawa ng pananaliksik kaugnay sa BoP issues o nagdedevelop ng mga polisiyang may kaugnyan sa Science and Technology (S&T) na makilahok sa nasabing patimpalak. Ang mga ito ay maaaring mag-apply ng grant o pautang ng hanggang 25,000 Canadian Dollars.

Deadline ng pagsumite ng applications ay hanggang August 30, 2008.
