SP Kalinga okays P52.7M 2008 budget
Tabuk City, Kalinga (15 August) -- The Provincial Board recently approved a total of P52,753,295.00 for the province' 2008 fiscal year budget. Provincial Secretary.
Mathew Matbagan said this came from the P44,838,948.00 Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) and the Retained Earnings of the 2007 Government Equity of P7,914,348.61.
He said that the Provincial Board has also approved the 10% increase in salary of all the 808 permanent employees in the province and a total of P29,278,515.00 Development Project to be funded under the 20% Development Fund.
This he said will cover the P845,000.00 development projects for the municipality of Balbalan; P2,185,000.00 for Lubuagan; P530,000.00 for Pasil; P600,000.00 for Rizal: and P4,095,00 for Pinukpuk that include the P2 million counterpart for the Catabbogan-Wagud-Aciga.
Tanudan, on the other hand, will get a slice of P2,775,000.00 where P800,000.00 will go to the completion of the Darulog-Bawac farm to market road in Dupligan, Tanudan. Tabuk gets the largest share with P17,478,515.00 that includes the P1.2 front canopy of the capitol building, P1 million concreting of CARAA road, construction of the P8M central terminal, and the P1M impounding dam at Giweb Callagdao, Bulanao.
