Traveling science centrum now in CdO

Cagayan de Oro City (19 August) -- Unlock the mysteries of Science… enjoy the adventures in Discovery… right at the heart of the city!

Yes, the first interactive science expo in the country is now in COC-PHINMA, and it will run for a month, starting August 13 to September 13, 2008.

About 40 science hands-on exhibits are available for students, teachers and the public. By playing with the different science gadgets at the science centrum, one would be able to understand better and appreciate the application of science and technology in one's own life and environment.

The science centrum is open from Mondays-Saturdays, 8am-5m. Admission fee is 40 pesos per person.

The putting up of the traveling science centrum in Cagayan de Oro City is made possible through the initiative of Cagayan de Oro College-PHINMA, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. 10 (DOST-10), the Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST), the Department of Education (DEPED) and also sponsored by Negros Navigation.
