by RM Palmiano

Legazpi City (19 August) -- The Bureau of Internal Revenue in Bicol (Revenue Region No. 10) celebration of the 104th BIR Founding Anniversary last August 8, was highlighted by the program giving recognition to the top taxpayers in the Bicol region, and the national draw for the Premyo sa Resibo conducted electronically.

The Bicol celebration of the BIR founding anniversary also featured the hard launching of the Tax Integrated Tax System (ITS) covering the rollout of four systems applications namely: Registration (REG), Returns Processing System (RPS), Collection and Bank Reconciliation (CBR) and the Taxpayer Accounting System (TAS) under the Nationwide Rollout of Computerized System (NRCS).

To conform with this year's anniversary theme "Buwis Mong Babayaran, Ating Kinabukasan", BIR Bicol OIC regional director Diosdado R.
