As of 8 pm last night, Dr. Mendoza reported that there is an utter lack of basic necessities such as blankets, mats, toiletries aside from food and mediines.

Dr. Mendoza recommended to the Local Government Units of Iligan and Lanao Norte to decongest the six (6) evacuation centers to avoid possible spread of diseases within the evacuation areas.

The DOH CHD NM Response Team conducted an ocular inspection of the evacuation centers immediately upon their arrival and observed that there is a poor sanitation in all sites. (DOH-X) [top]
