CSC 6 director graces personnel officers meeting

Roxas City (29 August) -- Civil Service Commission (CSC) Director for Western Visayas and lawyer Rodolfo B. Encajonado has conveyed the latest CSC updates to Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMP) during the Capiz Council of Personnel Officers' (CPPO) meeting last August 20 at the Provincial Capitol Building here.

The CSC's regional head also addressed the concerns and queries from the CPPO members during the meeting.

The HRMPs comprise human resource management practitioners, personnel as well as administrative officers coming from various national government agencies, local government units, state universities and water districts in the province.

During the CPPO meeting, various activities were also discussed and lined up for the upcoming 108th Philippine Civil Service anniversary celebration in September.

The month-long celebration with the theme "Republic Service: Kabalikat ng Bayan sa Panahon ng Paghamon" encourages all civil servants to actively and meaningfully participate in the celebration.

"This year's anniversary shall honor the significant role played by civil servants in national development and nation-building, highlighting individual and collective efforts to be responsive to people's needs and enjoining civil servants to take pride in the nobility of their profession despite challenging times," said a CSC Capiz Field Office news release.
