Tagalog News: Philippine Army bukas para sa payapang pakikipagkasundo

Koronadal City (5 November) -- Binigyang diin ni Maj. Gen Nehemias Pajarito, Commander ng First Infantry Division (IID) ng Philippine Army, na nananatiling bukas ang militar para sa payapang pakikipagkasundo tungo sa paglutas sa suliranin sa seguridad sa lalawigan ng Lanao.

Pinapurihan naman ni Pajarito ang 65th Infantry Battalion dahil sa pangunguna ng mga ito upang kusang mapasuko ang tatlong (3) miyembro ng rebeldeng grupong Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) sa Lanao del Sur na sina Sadam Macabaga, Jamil Angni Mama at Abdul Pata na pawang residente ng nabanggit na lalawigan.

Kasama sa kanilang pagsuko ang dalawang (2) unit ng US M1 Garand Riffle, tatlong (3) unit ng US M2 Carbine Riffle at improvised M79 grenade launcher.

Ayon kay Lt. Col Agane Adriatico, Civil Military Operations (CMO) Chief, G7, IID, ang mga nabanggit na miyembro ng MILF ay kusang sumuko sa militar dahil nagdesisyon ang mga itong bumalik na sa batas at napagod na sa katatakbo at katatago mula sa operasyon ng militar laban sa mga ito.
