Tagalog News: Pagbaba ng pasahe sa pampublikong sasakyan nagkabisa ngayong araw

Manila (5 November) -- Inaprubahan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang P0.50 centavos na pagbaba ng pasahe sa mga pampasaherong jeep sa unang apat na kilometro at piso (P1) naman sa mga bus (ordinary at air-conditioned) sa unang limang kilometro. Ito ay nagkabisa ngayong araw sa ganap na alas once ng umaga (11:00am).

Ito ang binigyang diin ni Transportation and Communications Secretary Leandro Mendoza sa ginanap na joint Cabinet-National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) board meeting kahapon.

Ani Mendoza, ang nasabing fare reduction ay bahagi ng kautusan ng Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na babaan ang singil sa pasahe at presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin upang tugunan ang kasalukuyang krisis sa buong mundo at ang nalalapit na kapaskuhan.

Ang nasabing fare reduction para sa mga pampublikong sasakyan ay ipapatupad ngayong araw sa buong bansa. (Abbenal/PIA 12) [top]
