Tagalog News: Pagpapababa sa presyo ng LPG tinalakay

Manila (7 November) -- Pinulong ni Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Angelo Reyes ang mga manufacturers, distributors at stakeholders ng liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) retail business kung saan tinalakay ng mga ito ang pagpapababa ng presyo ng cooking gas bago sumapit ang Pasko.

Ayon kay Reyes, dahil sa pagbaba ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo sa pandaigdigang merkado, kinakailangan ding babaan ang presyo ng LPG. Apat na piso (P4) na ang ibinaba sa presyo ng bawat kilo ng LPG sa kasalukuyan.

Ipinaliwanag ni Reyes na ang presyo sa bawat kontrata ng LPG sa pandaigdigang pamilihan ay bumaba na sa tatlumpu't-siyam (39) na porsyento na nangangahulugan lamang umanong aabot sa P15-P17 ang dapat na ibawas sa presyo ng bawat kilo ng LPG sa lokal na pamilihan.

Ayon pa kay Reyes, ipinag-utos din ng Pangulong Arroyo sa DOE na makipag-ugnayan sa economic team ng administrasyon upang matiyak na nasa ayos ang presyo ng lahat ng bilihin sa pamilihan lalo na ngayong nalalapit na ang kapaskuhan. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
