Tagalog News: Posibleng pag-atake ng NPA pinaghahandaan na ng militar

Koronadal City (7 November) -- Ipinag-utos ni Lt. Gen. Victor Ibrado, Commanding General ng Philippine Army (CGPA) sa lahat ng field commanders ng militar na maging mapagmatyag at tiyakin ang seguridad ng publiko laban sa posibleng pag-atake ng New People's Army (NPA).

Ang kautusang ito ay ipinalabas ng CGPA matapos makatanggap ng ulat na mas pinaigting ng mga Communist Party of the Philippines/NPA ang pagsasagawa ng mga ito ng armed offensive laban sa pwersa ng pamahalaan at government installations.

Ayon din kay Maj. Benedicto Manquiquis, Commander ng 1st Civil Military Operations (CMO) Unit, CMO Group, Philippine Army na ang nabanggit na kautusan ay kinabibilangan ng paghahanda at pagpapalakas ng pwersa ng tropa ng pamahalaan laban sa posibleng pag-atake ng CPP-NPA at pagpapatibay ng seguridad sa mga mamamayan.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang lahat ng units ay nagsasagawa na ng mga hakbang upang mas mapaigting pa ang pagbibigay proteksiyon sa publiko sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatibay ng kanilang camp defense tulad ng pagpapatayo ng mga dug-in foxholes, installation ng perimeter fences at early warning devices.
