CAAP conducts exams for 2nd Comprehensive Air Traffic Service Course
Negros Occidental (12 November) -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, formerly the Air Transportation Office, is set to conduct a competitive examination to select trainees for its 2nd Comprehensive Air Traffic Service Course.
After the examination, selected trainees will be trained at the Manila Civil Aviation Training Center in Pasay City.
The training will be at no cost and no allowance or other form of compensation will be given to the applicants for the duration of the training.
In Bacolod City, the date of the competitive exam is on November 29, 2008.
CAAP-Bacolod is still open for more applicants of not more than 28 years old on the day of the examination, must be of good health, free from any physical defects and of good moral character since applicants will undergo a medical examination. Minimum educational requirement for applicants is at least a baccalaureate degree with good command of the oral and written English and must be computer literate. CAAP prefers those with Professional Career Service Eligibility or R.A. 1080.
Application forms may be secured from the Air Traffic Service Facility In-Charge/Airport Manager/ Personnel Office CAAP at Brgy. BAgtic, New Bacolod-Silay Airport.
Interested applicants must submit a copy of college diploma/transcript of records, civil service eligibility/R.A. 1080 rating, birth certificate, police clearance, barangay clearance, NBI clearance and medical clearance with the duly filled application form not later than 5:00 p.m. of November 25, 2008 to Air Traffic Service Facility in Charge/ Airport Manager/ Personnel Office CAAP, Brgy. Bagtic, Bacolod-Silay Airport, Silay City.
