"The ordinance aims to provide for a supplemental assistance to one SK official per municipality in the 11 municipalities of the province of Ifugao", he said.

Banawol further explained that the educational program is dubbed the Sagguniang Kabataan Educational Tertiary Assistance Program to be implemented this semester after all the grantees have been identified.

"Hon. Buyuccan has deeply acknowledged the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members and the Office of the Governor in the passing and approval of the relevant legislative measure and finally an Ifugao- crafted ordinance has painted its mark in the national arena of legislation" Banawol bared.
