Tagalog News: NFA-ARMM tinitiyak ang sapat na supply na bigas

Koronadal City (20 November) -- Patuloy ang National Food Authority-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (NFA-ARMM) sa pagtiyak ng sapat na supply ng bigas sa rehiyon bilang pagtupad sa kautusang tiyakin na hindi kukulangin ang supply ng nabanggit na pagkain lalo na sa panahon ng kaguluhan o kalamidad.

Ayon kay NFA-ARMM regional director Atty. Emilio Adrion, magpapatuloy ang kanilang tanggapan sa pamamahagi ng bigas sa pamamagitan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Regional Disaster Coordinating Council (RDCC), local government unit's (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs) at iba pa upang mas madaling makakuha ang mga mamamayan.

Ayon pa kay Adrion, bagama't naapektuhan ng kaguluhan ang produksiyon ng palay sa rehiyon, titiyakin naman ng NFA na hindi magkukulang ang supply ng bigas sa ARMM lalo na para sa mga Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Dagdag pa ni Adrion, ang isinasagawang palay procurement program ng NFA sa kasalukuyan ay isang mabisang hakbang upang matiyak ang sapat na supply ng bigas lalo na't ito'y nagmumula sa mga lokal na magsasaka. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
