Region 8 Administrators League marks 35th anniversary of CES with jobs fair and hataw

Tacloban City (November 26) -- The Region Eight Administrators League is scheduled to conduct a Jobs Fair and a Hataw on November 29 to mark the 35th Anniversary of the Career Executive Service, Manager Flordelis Menzon of Pag-ibig informed.

The activities will center on the theme "Serbisyong CESO: Pamumunong Tapat at Wasto Para sa Progreso." The theme focuses on the need to recognize achievements and enhance the commitment to strengthen the Career Executive Service and make it truly a bastion of professionalism and careerism even as the CES evolve its role to become an important vehicle in the drive towards better governance.

Manager Menzon said that the conduct of the Jobs Fair has been made possible with the coordination and support of Presidential Assistant for Eastern Visayas Cynthia Nierras and the Department of Labor and Employment North Leyte Field Office through Director Forter Puguon.

The Jobs Fair will be conducted from 8:00 o'clock in the morning to 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon, at the DOLE Regional Office in Tacloban City.

In addition, REAL will also conduct a HATAW, a physical fitness program, at 6:00 o'clock in the morning of November 29, at the Leyte Family Park along Magsaysay Boulevard in Tacloban City.

The HATAW, which will be spearheaded by the Department of Health Regional Office 8 under the leadership of Director Adelaida Asperin, will be participated in by the employees of the various national agencies in the Region, including the State Colleges and Universities and the Government Owned and Controlled corporations.

Manager Menzon called on the members of the League to attend the two important activities in line with the celebration of Career Executive Service Day. (PIA 8) [top]
