Tagalog News: Nalalapit na BPO Summit Philippines 2008 pinaghahandaan

Manila (27 November) -- Nagtipon ang mga kinatawan ng mahigit dalawampung (20) paaralan sa Metro Manila kamakailan para sa pagdiriwang ng Academe Day na bahagi ng preparasyon para sa nalalapit na BPO Summit Philippines 2008, isang taunang pagdiriwang ng non-voice outsourcing industry sa bansa.

Ang nabanggit na pagtitipon ay pinangunahan ng iba't-ibang industry associations upang matalakay ang mga hakbang para sa pagpapaunlad ng sektor ng business process outsourcing (BPO) pati na rin ang employment projections hanggang sa taong 2010.

Binigyang diin naman ni Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) Executive Director for Industry Affairs Jonathan de Luzuriaga, malaki umano ang naitutulong ng sektor ng training, telecommunications at real estate upang mapanatiling maunlad ang mga pamumuhunan sa BPO.

Dagdag pa ni Luzuriaga, dahil sa patuloy na paglago ng sektor ng BPO, inaasahang makapagbubukas pa ito ng karagdagang trabaho para sa mga mamamayang Pilipino sa susunod na tatlo hanggang apat na taon. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
