DAF-ARMM signs agreement to expand ARMMIARC facility

Cotabato City (29 November) -- A training center and an annex building will soon rise at the DAF-ARMM Integrated Agricultural Research Center (DAF-ARMMIARC).
Construction of said facilities estimated to cost P5million will be funded by the Japan International Cooperating Agency (JICA).
According to Jalika D. Mangacop, DAF-ARMM R&DE Director, the proposed training center will be utilized for massive trainings of farmers and fisher folks, researchers, extension workers and farmer leaders to strengthen the development of the agriculture and fishery sectors in the autonomous region.
More than twenty (20) officials from DAF-ARMM Social Fund Project (ASFP) and JICA witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between DAF-ARMM Secretary Keise T. Usman, ASFP Project Manager Atty. Mustapha Sambolawan, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-ARMM) Assistant Secretary Guialoson A. Mamogkat and FFJJ Contractor Mr. Osmeņa Palanggalan.
