Agusan Norte to purchase 6 brand new heavy equipment

Butuan City (30 November) -- The provincial government of Agusan del Norte is set to purchase six brand new heavy equipment to enhance its capability in infrastructure support facilities and various agro-industrial development programs, projects and activities under the Executive Legislative Agenda for 2007-2010.
These equipment include two units brand new 10-wheeler dump truck, one unit brand new motor grader, one unit brand new wheel loader, one unit brand new excavator, and one unit brand new vibratory road roller.
All the heavy equipment cost US $759,200.00 or close to P35 million pesos.
To materialize the said purchase, Gov. Erlpe John Amante was authorized recently by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Agusan del Norte through Sanggunian Resolution No. 312-2008 to open a letter of credit with Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP)-Butuan Lending Center for the importation of the equipment in favor of Main Empire Company Limited from Singapore. Said company is represented by TKC Heavy Industries Corporation, its exclusive distributor in the Philippines. (Agusan del Norte/PIA-Caraga) [top]
