Tagalog News: ARMM hindi magkakaroon ng retrenchment - Ampatuan

Koronadal City (5 February) -- Tiniyak ni Autonomous Region and Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Regional Governor Zaldy Ampatuan na walang magaganap na retrenchment sa nabanggit na rehiyon sa kabila ng patuloy na pag-lay-off ng mga manggagawa ng iba't-ibang kompanya at business firms sa bansa dahil sa suliraning pang-ekonomiya na hinaharap ng buong mundo.

Ayon kay Department of Labor and Employment-ARMM Secretary Antonio Mariano, gumagawa na ng paraan ang pamunuan ni Governor Ampatuan upang mailigtas ang mga manggagawa sa rehiyon at manatili sa kanilang trabaho ng sa ganun ay hindi maapektuhan ang kanilang kabuhayan.

Isa sa mga hakbang na balak isagawa ng ARMM regional government ay bawasan ang bilang ng working hours ng sa ganun ay makatipid ang mga business companies sa kanilang expenses tulad ng light bills. Ang mahalaga umano ay huwag lamang magtatanggal ng empleyado.

Inirekomenda na rin ng DOLE-ARMM sa Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) ng mga private business firms na mabibigyan ang mga ito ng tax holiday upang mabawasan ang epekto ng global financial crisis sa mga ito. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
