Deadline for application of career service exam moved Feb. 16

Iloilo City (12 February) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has moved to February 16, Monday the filing of applications for the first Career Service Examination-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) Professional and SubProfessional levels to be administered this year.

In its press report, the CSC Regional Office 6 said that the date for the filing of application has been moved to February 16 from the original schedule of February 11 but the schedule of the examination remains on March 29, 2009.

The CSC 6 said this is to accommodate the requests of the CSC Regional Offices as well as the public, as stated in the CSC Office Memorandum No. 12, s. of 2009 dated February 9, 2009.

The CSE-PPT (Professional and Subprofessional levels) is open to Filipino citizens who are at least 18 years of age on the date of filing of application.

Those who passed the career service exams would be conferred of either Professional or Subprofessional eligibility appropriate for appointment to corresponding positions in the government.

According to the CSC the passing grade for the said examination is 80.00.
