Smart, Globe companies set up telecom lines in Cagayan Valley
Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (16 February) -- Smart and Globe companies are setting up telecommunication lines in Cagayan Valley as part of its bid to improve the flow of communication in the region.
Engr. Ronald Reyes, public works and highways department main office's district engineer said the project involves the installation and setting up of fiber optics within both shoulders of the Maharlika highway.
"In this way, the telecommunication lines will become stable and free from risks of accidental and/or manmade destruction," he told PIA.
The multi-million telecommunication improvement project, Reyes said got its permit from the DPWH regional office and requires the companies to restore any affected public works structures into its original condition. (bme/PIA NVizcaya) [top]
