Tagalog News: PGMA bibisitahin ang headquarters ng TESDA

Manila (16 February) -- Binisita ngayong araw (Feb. 16) ng Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang headquarters ng Technical Education and skills Development Authority (TESDA) sa Taguig City upang i-assess ang job-training at job-matching program para sa mga underemployed at unemployed Filipinos, na isinagawa ng TESDA.

nilunsad ng administrasyon ang job-training at job-matching assistance program upang matulungan ang mga unemployed at underemployed lalo na yaong mga displaced Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) na naapektuhan ng global crunch, upang makahanap ng iba pang trabaho o makapagtayo ng sarili nilang livelihood projects.

Maliban sa TESDA, kasama din sa programang ito ang ibang ahensiya tulad ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at ang Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT).

Kasama din sa programa ang job placement agencies, training providers, private companies, industry associations and sectoral groups gaya ng Business Processing Association of the Philippines at ang Trade Union Congress of the Philippines at maraming iba pa. (KAlbay/PIA 12) [top]
