Iloilo City (23 February) -- The "Premyo sa Resibo" raffle draw tour of the Philippines will be in SM City-Iloilo this February 27, 2009, at 3:00 in the afternoon.

The raffle draw is part of the Bureau of Internal Revenue's efforts at rewarding consumers, giving them more chances of wining with more prizes available.

A BIR press release said that aside from the P1 million cash prize on the draw every other week, there are also P25,000 at stake at the weekly draw and P5,000 in the daily draws.

Premyo sa Resibo is an SMS-based raffle project in support of the efforts of the agency to plug leakages in the tax collection system. So far it has already awarded more than P124 million worth of prizes to consumers all over the country.

To join, consumers need to text the following information: PSR Tax identification number of the establishment, OR Number and amount and send to 9778 at P2.50 per entry.

Receipts over P100 may be entered for multiple raffle in Papremyo to be sent with the same information to the same number.

Consumers can also enter their Ors in the raffle by visiting any SM Bills Payment Counter, Mall Information Counter, Business Service Center or by approaching any Costumer Service Personnel for information.

All Premyo sa Resibo winners will be notified and contacted by an authorized Philweb representative coming from this number only: (02) 886-5995. (BIR/PIA6/ESS) [top]
