Bacolod youth to join national anti-corruption drive
Bacolod City (24 February) -- Transparency International Philippines (TIP) sponsored a youth development course on the theme "Corruption ruins lives Fight back" participated in by 18 young leaders in Bacolod City recently.
The seminar focused on the role of youth leadership in the fight against corruption within their own social contexts, strengthen a set of key leadership skills including systems thinking and team building.
Participants were from the Sanggunian Kabataan, student governments and student publications, as well as various non-government organizations in Bacolod City.
The course was developed by TIP Bacolod core group members, Bacolod Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, Remedios Mapa-Suplido, Benedicto Sanchez and Renato Baņas. (PIA/cad) [top]
