Tagalog News: Mga residente ng Shariff Aguak nagsilikas, Ampatuan mansion pinasabugan

Koronadal City (5 January) -- Maraming residente ng bayan ng Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao ang nagsipaglikas dahil sa napa-ulat na pag-atake ng mahigit isangdaang (100) armadong miyembro ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

Noong linggo ng gabi, dalawang granada ang tumama sa mansion ni dating Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan, Sr. sa bayan ng Shariff Aguak na naging sanhi ng pagkasugat ng isang anim-na-pu't-limang (65) taong gulang na residente at pagkabahala ng mga sibilyan.

Kaugnay nito, inihayag ni 6th ID spokesman Lt. Col Jonathan Ponce na mayroon ng karagdagang puwersa ng sundalo ang nai-deploy sa Shariff Aguak at kalapit-bayan upang maseguro ang kaligtasan ng mga sibilyan at maibsan ang kanilang agam-agam hinggil sa naka-ambang kaguluhan.

Inihayag rin ni acting Maguindanao police chief Supt Alex Lineses, na sapat umano ang Army at police personnel sa lugar na magseseguro ng kaligtasan ng mga residente at magbantay sa mga Ampatuan mansions mula sa pagbabanta ng harassment ng mga miyembro ng MILF at iba pang lawless groups.
