Tagalog News: Sampung katangi-tanging policewomen pinarangalan ni PGMA

Manila (14 January) -- Pinarangalan ni President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang sampung policewomen dahil sa kanilang dedikasyon at kahanga hangang paglilingkod sa isang simpleng seremonya sa Malacanang kahapon.

Ang mga babaeng tagapagpatupad ng batas ang bumubuo sa Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines (TOPWP) ngayong taon pinili ng ZONTA Club of Makati Paseo de Roxas Foundation at ng Philippine National Police.

Kasama ng pinarangalan sina:

  • Police Superintendent Lailene Amparo ng Marilao
  • Police Chief Inspector Delia Ingalla ng Taguig City
  • Police Senior Inspector Lerma Tirana ng NCR
  • Senior Police Officer 1 Marifel Cortez ng Butuan City
  • Police Officer 3 Zorayda Aripin ng Zamboanga City
  • Police Officer 3 Ruth Poserio ng Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan
  • Police Officer 3 Judith Olbes ng Sorsogon
  • Police Officer 3 Lilybeth Pascual ng Camarines Sur
  • Police Officer 2 Famela Suba-Cabiao ng Nueva Ecija at
  • Police Officer 2 Rina Salaya ng Maasin, Iloilo

Sa ikawalong taon nito, ang TOPWP ay itinatag upang makapagbigay ng pagkilala sa mga policewomen na nakatulong sa kapayapaan at kaayusan.

Ang mga nabanggit ay tumanggap ng TOPWP Kabalikat Award trophy at cash mula sa ZONTA, isang gift certificate mula sa Arms Corporation Philippines (ARMSCOR) at Outstanding Medal mula sa PNP. (RMPadua/PIA 12) [top]
