NVizcaya PNP gets computers, radio and police blotters

by Ben Moses Ebreo

Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (February 1) ? The Philippine National Police (PNP) here received a package of assistance from the provincial government to nehnace and improve their peace and order programs, projects and activities in the province.

Governor Luisa Lloren Cuaresma on Monday personally awarded to Police Supt. Pedro Danguilan, provincial director of the Police Provincial Office(PPO) in this town 20 units of computers sets, handheld and base radios, including police blotters needed by the 15 police stations in the province.

The awarding program was done after the regular flag raising ceremonies at the provincial capitol compound here.

The assistance was promised by Cuaresma during a new year courtesy call by police officers in this province early last month.

Danguilan who expressed appreciation and gratitude said the assistance will play a major factor on the delivery of immediate services and responses on various peace and order programs as these will enhance their administrative capabilities.

"Rest assured that these assistance will serve our province, particularly our policemen and our constituents who usually go to our police stations for help," Danguilan stressed.

During their courtesy call, Cuaresma encouraged police officers here to perform their job well despite the pressures of the political exercise this May polls.

She said the police should always maintain their image, dignity and stand as a non-political and non-partisan government agency, serving the province with commitment and dedication without fear or favor. (PIA NVizcaya) [top]
