Tagalog News: Pagpapatayo ng industrial economic zone at IT-Tourism zone sa Negros Occidental malapit nang simulan

Bacolod City (4 February) -- Nakatakdang simulan ang pagpapatayo ng apat na mahahalagang information technology (IT) sites sa Negros Occidental sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Inihayag ni Atty. Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, presidente ng Bacolod-Negros Occidental National Federation of Information Technology, sa isang pagpupulong sa Teleperformance Phils. Facility na malapit ng simulan ang limampung (50) ektaryang industrial economic zone sa Silay at labing-tatlong (13) ektaryang IT at tourism zone sa Bacolod bilang paghahanda para sa patuloy na pagpasok ng IT at business process outsourcing (BPO) firms.

Bilang paghahanda rin sa nasabing industriya, nagsasagawa na ng kaukulang pagsasanay ang lalawigan.

Ani Batapa, mayroong anim na call center providers sa lalawigan na kinilala ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at halos lahat ng kolehiyo at mga unibersidad ay nagsasagawa na ng mga training programs para sa karagdagang mga manggagawa.

Pinasalamatan ng mga mamamayan ng Negros Occidental ang Pangulo sa lahat ng kanyang nagawa sa lalawigan lalung-lalo na sa pagpapaunlad ng kanilang industriya. (PIA 12) [top]
