Search for outstanding public officials, employees now open

Manila (9 February) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is now accepting nominations to the 2010 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees.

The search has three categories that include Presidential or Lingkod Bayan Award, the Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan Award and the CSC Pagasa Award.

The award is part of the CSC's advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and recognizing and rewarding women and men either for outstanding work performance, contribution and superior accomplishments or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in the public service.

Nomination form, flyer and the enhanced program guidelines are available at any CSC's offices nationwide or may be downloaded at the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph.

Nominations can be submitted to the CSC regional and provincial/field offices or to the Honor Awards Program (HAP) Secretariat, Public Assistance and Information Office, Constitutional Hill, Diliman, Quezon City not later than April 30,2010.
