CSC launches 2010 search for outstanding public officials

Cagayan de Oro City (9 February) -- Government workers with "par excellence" performance will, again, be recognized for their outstanding achievements by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Atty. Lourdes Clavite-Vidal, Regional Director of CSC, region 10, said they have just launched the 2010 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees (SOPOE) and nominations will be accepted by until April 15, this year, for the following:
"Lingkod ng Bayan" Awards conferred on an individual or group of individuals for exceptional or extraordinary contributions resulting for an idea or performance that had nationwide impact on public interest, security and patrimony.
"Dangal ng Bayan" Awards conferred on an individual for performance of extraordinary act or public service and consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior on observance of the Code of Ethics and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
"PAG-ASA" Awards conferred on an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions resulting from an idea or performance that directly benefitted more than one (1) department of the government though not of such extraordinary or exceptional degree to merit the "Lingkod Bayan" Award.
