Tagalog News: PGMA, nakapokus sa kanyang pamumuno; hindi pinupuntirya ang pagiging House Speaker

Manila (16 February) -- Hindi pinupuntirya ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang pagiging speaker ng House of Representatives bagama't sya ay tatakbo bilang Representative ng second congressional district ng Pampanga sa darating na halalan sa May 10,2010.

Ayon kay Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Gary Olivar, napakaaga pa para pag-usapan kung sino ang magiging speaker ng 15th Congress dahil may tatlong buwan pa naman bago mag-eleksiyon.

Dagdag pa ni Olivar, si Ginang Arroyo ay tatakbo sa second congressional seat sa Pampanga upang paglingkuran ang kanyang mga kababayan at hindi niya iniisp ang pagiging Speaker ng Kamara.

Binigyang diin din ni Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Charito Planas na ang Pangulo ay abala sa pagsusuri sa kanyang mga agriculture-infrastructure projects sa Mindanao Super Region matapos ang kanyang inspeksyon sa Urban Luzon Beltway noong isang Linggo. (RMPadua/PIA 12) [top]
