Cebuano News: ICRC nangandam sa poll violence sa Pilipinas

Manila (17 February) -- ANG International Committee of the Red Cross kon ICRC niadtong Martes niingon nga gipangandaman na nila ang pagbuto sa mga election-related violence sa Pilipinas sa nagsingabot nga Mayo 10 nga piniliay.

Gibuhat karon sa ICRC ang pagtino sa mga "hot spots" diin gikahadlokan nga may kagubot nga mahitabo.

Particular na sa habagatang bahin sa Mindanao, diin 57 ka tawo ang gipamatay niadtong Nobyembre nga maoy worst election-related violence sa nasud. Sa laing dapit, adunay pito pa nga gipang-patay sa vote-related violence.

Matud pa ni Jean-Daniel Tauxe, country head sa Geneva-based ICRC nga ang Red Cross'first responders' og uban pang key emergency supplies, sama sa mga dugo, ipang apod-apod sa mga lugar diin adunay presensya sa mga armadong elemento nga maoy tinubdan sa kagubot. (PIA-Bohol) [top]
