Roxas City (18 February) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) through its various offices nationwide is now accepting nominations for the Search for 2010 Outstanding Public Officials and Employees.
A Memorandum Circular was issued by the Commission to officially announce this year's search for public service exemplars.
In Capiz, CSC Provincial Director Ma. Cynthia P. A. Gellegani said that the nominations maybe submitted to the CSC Field Office at the Provincial Capitol Building here.
The annual nationwide search is in line with the Commission's advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and of recognizing and rewarding men and women either for outstanding performance, contribution and achievements or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in the public service.

The Lingkod Bayan and Pagasa Awards are for outstanding work performance while the Dangal ng Bayan Award is given for exemplary ethical behavior.
The awarding rites for this year's winners will serve as the "centerpiece of the celebration of the 110th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary to be held in September 2010."
