Tagalog News: Puntirya ni PGMA sa kanyang legacy tour ang tourism corridor ng bansa

Manila (23 February) -- Pagkatapos ng Mindanao tour, susunod na tutunguhin simula ngayong araw ng Mates Febrero 23 ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang apat na probinsiya sa Gitnang Pilipinas na napapabilang sa tourism corridor.

Unang pupuntahan ni Pangulong Arroyo ang Sorosogon na isa sa mga tourist destination ng bansa, ang Donsol kung saan matatagpuan ang butanding o whale shark at Camarines Sur sikat bilang wakeboarding center at Caramoan beach.

Nangunguna sa listahan ng tourist destination ang Cebu, sinusundan ng Camarines Sur at pangatlo ang Metro Manila.

Mula Sorsogon, lilipad patungong Palawan si Pangulong Arroyo kung saan makikita ang underground river at ang Tubbataha reef na sikat at kilala sa buong mundo.

Ayon kay Tourism Secretary Ace Durano mahigit sa 50% ang naiambag ng Central Philippines sa sektor ng turismo sa bansa. (pbc/PIA) [top]
