Cebuano News: Australia, Pilipinas magtabangay alang sa paghimong professional sa land valuation

Manila (25 February) -- Usa ka professional land valuation course nga gi-ugmad sa University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) ug gipaluyohan sa Australian Government ug World Bank, ang gilusad kagahapon nila ni Australian Embassy Charge D' Affaires Stephen Scott, Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Margarito Teves, ug UPOU Chancellor Grace Javier Alfonso.

Ang bag-ong education program maoy resulta sa gi-uyonang paningkamot tali sa Central Queensland University sa Australia, UPOU, DOF, ug Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) pinaagi sa Land Administration and Management Program Phase 2 (LAMP 2).

Si Scott nagkanayon nga pinaagi niini nga kurso ang katakus sa mga Filipino real estate practitioners sa paghimo og credible land valuation aron mosibo sa market values mas matalinsan pa.

Ang World Bank mibana-bana nga 50 ngadto sa 70% sa bahandi sa nasud anaa sa real estate kon mga kayutaan, ug kini maoy kinadak-an nga posibling kakuhaan og income, ug mahimong tinubdan aron kaponduhan ang mga social ug economic programs.

Apan sa Pilipinas, ang naamot niini alang sa gross national product nagpabilin sa 6.3% lamang sa milabayng napulo ka tuig, paniid ni Scott.
